I'm sure you may have heard by now, but MosBurger (One of Japan's leading fast food franchises) and Mister Donut have combined to make the ultimate snack: A doughnut in the shape of a burger!Tsuji Nozomi and Yaguchi Mari are featured in the advertisements, which can be seen on the MOSDO website, just click the little icon in the bottom left corner that says "CM".
There are two versions of the burgers. Both have a doughnut bun and a square chocolate "pattie" with crispy puffs in them (I guess representing the bits of fat in your regular pattie).
One version has stawberry cream (sutoroberi hoipu) and stawberry sauce (ichigo sosu), and the other has the same but in a "matcha" (A traditional Japanese tea) flavour. You can purchase the pair together for 168 yen (~ $2.10 AU).
Also on sale is the "potedo", which is a combination of the word "potato" and the "do" from doughnut. They are potato fries - but are doughnuts! you can also get them with strawberry sauce (I think the same one from the strawberry flavour burger.) You can pick up a packet of potedo for just 126 yen (~ $1.85 AU).
Better yet, you can get the two burgers, potedo and a drink for just 400 yen (~$4.50 AU)
I would really like to try these one day!
