I guess she just understands that she can't have a future with H!P, because soloists never seem to go well when they're older. ):

But yes, I am extremely happy I wont see her in MoMusu again, because she just doesn't suit it anymore...

Animania

As some of you Aussies out there know, last weekend was Animania (An anime festival, like duh.).

It includes cosplay, video games, an art corner, panels, stalls, food and more! I have fun eveytime I go, but less and less of my friends are going now, and I ended up having only two friends there this year. >.> Oh well, still fun.

So! I thought I should upload some photos for y'all. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the hot shirtless cosplayers. Sorry, Ana.

Also, I am currently uploading some skits from Sunday (I didn't film any on Saturday, sorry...). I have K-On, PowerPuff Girls Z (Which won best skit!), and both of the Vocaloid groups. New laptop = Vlog to come?

Woop!
So, our government is nice... >.>
This year, all Year 9 students throughout Australia are being given a laptop from school (government schools...)
And our school is getting ours next week! Whoooooop!

They're not that great... (Well, yeah, they are). But they are mini laptops by Lenovo (I hate Lenovo! D;< ) BUT they come with photoshop, flash, and a webcam! (:
So!
This means, I could possibly make a vlog?

I was planning on making one sometime next year, because.. well, you'll have to look at my youtube page! (http://www.youtube.com/user/SukissuBlog)

But now I just can't wait! (:
I'll be talking about H!P, as well as practising my Japanese... XD
Maybe comparing life here in Australia to life in Japan.

Umeda Erika to graduate from H!P and °C-ute

Umeda Erika is to graduate from C-ute (and Hello! Project) on the 25th of October, to become a fashion model.
Good on you, Erika!
C-ute wasn't giving you enough attention (I guess because you can't sing that well...) so it's a great to get the attention back on you!

It was announced yesterday on H!O that Arihara Kanna will no longer be a part of Hello! Project as of 9th July 2009.

To tell the truth, I was not suprised. In fact, I thought this might happen. Four months ago, Kanna left C-ute because of a bunion on her foot. People were suspicious because the usual recovery time for a bunion is usually only up to two months. But now, H!P have made it final, with not even a graduation ceremony for Kanna.

Farewell, Kanna, I will sincerely miss you, because C-ute will never be as good with only 6 people. Have fun with your private life, and remember all the fans that love you!

Morning Musume arrive in America

The time has come!
I was stalking the JPH!P forums and came across a few videos of their arrival.
And may I say, even though I wasn't there, my heart was still pounding, and I was tempted to scream out "DAISUKI DAYOOOO!" (Basically, "ily") but I remembered I'm still at home. D:
Oh well.
One day they'll have to come to Australia.

The funny thing is... they look so surprised to have that many people be there to greet them. XD
Oh! You know what would've been cool?
If they chanted.. "Watashi wa.." (I am)
and then started singing "Shouganai Yume Oibito" (A hopeless dream chaser.) Haha! Something like that would've been hilarious.

But this video still made me lol my socks off! (Though I'm not wearing any.) Enjoy!

H!O denied access to interview Morning Musume

As many of you know, H!O (hello-online.org) is a very large fansite of H!P (and related) artists. They give us news before every other site, and tell us when new singles are coming up...

Right now, Anime Expo is taking place, and many English H!P fansites have gotten a press pass to interview MoMusu. H!O arrived early just to secure a place for and interview, but they were denied!

I couldn't quite believe it myself. But I'm sure they had a logical reason... (probably something like the website sharing pictures..) It's still saddening to see this happening. After all, MoMusu wants to branch out to America, right?

Here's a quote from H!O:
"This unfortunate turn of event came as not only a shock, but an insult to Hello!Online and its members, and the western Hello!Project fandom we all embody.

Does the Morning Musume satff have any idea the damage they caused by this poorly evaluated decision. The reason Morning Musume came all the way from Japan to LA is to break into the western world and improve their relationship with western fans. By preventing Hello!Online from the supposingly open opportunity for all press outlets, it is like slapping all western fans in the face and over-riding the efforts our nine beloved girls are giving.

We are not putting blame on anyone. The staff and organizers have been a great help and more than polite in this whole ordeal. And certainly, it was not up to Morning Musume to decide who gets to interview them.

I just can not comprehend why only we were denied without reason, while other western fansites and blogs were granted access.

I fully understand that UFA have all the rights to refuse anyone from interviewing their artist without giving any explaination. Personally, I have lost a great deal of (if not all) respect for UFA as a company.

The winner of the 2008 UF Kansai audition was announced. Her name is Kawamura Mahiro, and she is 13 years old. (She has braces, too!)

For those who have been stalking Morning Musume's favourite videos on Myspace, you may have noticed that the contest has finished. So, Dohhh UP! has released Morning Musume's new video (but the full version) and to me, it looks like they had the same idea as some of the entries. ;-;
Still pretty darn grawesome. By far the best MoMusu video made... just because it looks so cool!

Lately... I've been wishing it was Summer again. ;-; Australia is like, NEVER this cold.

And also, my friend has been pestering me to make a blog update, so here we are!

The PV for C-ute's "Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu" has come out (today?), and to tell the truth... I was really worried about it~ ;-;

I didn't particularly like the original version... but I thought 'Airi's in it, so it'll be okay!'

Not really.

Nakajima kinda killed it. And Airi's solos were... not so great.

But the dance dresses are cute, so it's okay. :D

I want Kanna to come back, so C-ute can be GOOD again...

Takahashi Ai: Just another girl in a bikini?

I'm kinda getting sick of it. Takahashi Ai released her new PB not too long ago, and all the pictures are just bikini, bikini, bikini.

I don't see the reason why the girls can't take beautiful pictures with clothes on.

Not to offend them, the photos are beautiful, but I'd rather not have pictures of half-naked girls on my computer. Kind of suss for a 14-yr-old girl don't ya think?

I'm not saying they shouldn't have photos in bikinis (because I know much of the H!P fanbase love them), but I'd like to see more of the good old days... with clothes.

You'll notice that in my favourite pictures, they do, in fact, have clothes on.

So far the members are Fukuda Kanon (left) from H!P Eggs and Linlin (Right) from Morning Musume as leader!

There will be 4 members like the old Minimoni, and Tsunku has said the other two members will also be eggs.

Somehow I'm worried that this group just won't work...

Through a lack of interesting things about Hello! Project, I haven't posted in a week.

Not good.

So, I thought I should tell you more about myself!

I have very very bad eyesight. (Like negative 0.5 or something? Iunno.)

I like to draw, and I also like photography. (My deviantart is guureta.deviantart.com)

I have a DSi! (I know, my life is full of joy and happiness.)

I am currently reading the "Sandman" comic series by Neil Gaiman.

I want the new Pokemon game, but I have no money.

I do dance at school (I know, somebody like me, it's weird. And no, I'm not good at it.)

I also do art. Which isn't so weird.

I listen to Japanese music (Well duh).

I take Japanese classes for 2 and half hours every Tuesday afternoon.I live in Austraaaalia.

I love chocolate. (:

Morning Musume OPV Contest

That's right! MoMusu and Myspace are hosting an OPV contest for MoMusu's song "3 2 1 BREAKIN'OUT".

All you have to do is make a 2 minute using the sound and exclusive video clips provided (or your own) to create a music video for MoMusu! There are no age restrictions, so of course I am entering!

The 1st place winner will recieve:
390,000 yen! (~ $4000 AU!)
A special congratulations message from MoMusu!
Your work will be included as special footage in upcoming Up Front Works release.

Note: Even if you aren't entering, I recommend downloading the exclusive footage and just playing around with it for fun. There's a dance shot, close-ups, etc, plus heaps of extra footage of the girls frolicking, pulling faces and falling over!

Also, I have some suggestions you should keep in mind whilst making your video:

Try to keep the screen time for each girl as even as possible, as this is for an international audience and they all have very different views on each member, but also keep in mind that Ai is the leader and Gaki is sub-leader.
Make it as entertaining as possible - don't just show the dance shot and a couple of close ups and change the background - mix it up a little!
Try your best! Even though not many people are into Japanese music, keep in mind there are many crazy fans out there who will do whatever it takes to get closer to MoMusu (like myself, for instance).

MOSDO Donut Burger

I'm sure you may have heard by now, but MosBurger (One of Japan's leading fast food franchises) and Mister Donut have combined to make the ultimate snack: A doughnut in the shape of a burger!

Tsuji Nozomi and Yaguchi Mari are featured in the advertisements, which can be seen on the MOSDO website, just click the little icon in the bottom left corner that says "CM".

There are two versions of the burgers. Both have a doughnut bun and a square chocolate "pattie" with crispy puffs in them (I guess representing the bits of fat in your regular pattie).

One version has stawberry cream (sutoroberi hoipu) and stawberry sauce (ichigo sosu), and the other has the same but in a "matcha" (A traditional Japanese tea) flavour. You can purchase the pair together for 168 yen (~ $2.10 AU).

Also on sale is the "potedo", which is a combination of the word "potato" and the "do" from doughnut. They are potato fries - but are doughnuts! you can also get them with strawberry sauce (I think the same one from the strawberry flavour burger.) You can pick up a packet of potedo for just 126 yen (~ $1.85 AU).

Better yet, you can get the two burgers, potedo and a drink for just 400 yen (~$4.50 AU)

I would really like to try these one day!

Shouganai Yume Oibito - Morning Musume (Dance Shot)

Wow! I can't believe how much I like this dance, despite the fact that Eri and Gaki are nearly always at the back.
In some dance shots, I can't stand the use of close-ups, but here, it just works!
I'm glad to see Aika up the front - she needed to be seen more.
KOHARU, JUST GO HOME ALREADY.
The clothes and set remind me of SEXY BOY.
Junlin still not even a bit up the front, despite sharing a solo line.

Overall, I really do like this dance, it is very graceful and pretty. *o*

But, the running in a circle thing was a bit childish. And I'm not a fan of the over-the-knee boots...

So I thought I should tell everyone the reasons why I like H!P so much.

1. It's pure awesome.
